Polyphenols is a company within Biolink Group. Polyphenols was founded in 1998 in co operation with the University of Bergen, Norway.
Polyphenols is based on production of anthocyanins and other polyphenols. The company is well reputated for its knowledge and expertise on flavonoids.
Polyphenols is operating worldwide. Our customers are spread from food, wine, forest and pharmaceutical industry, to medical, chemical and biological laboratories.
The company support and participate in several research projects involving anthocyanins and other polyphenols.
The laboratories are located at Hanabryggene Technology Centre in Sandnes on the west coats of Norway.

Pure analysis
Polyphenols offers different kind of analytical work, expertise and knowledge related to the analysis of anthocyanins and other flavonoids.
Polyphenols can provide analytical services related to anthocyanins, flavonoids, stilbenoids and other polyphenolic compounds.
The services include sample extraction, fractionation of extracts or mixtures, sample screening by chromatographic techniques and isolation of specific compounds.
Pure Products
Polyphenols can at the moment provide more than 30 different products in various amounts.
All products produced by Polyphenols have been extracted from natural sources. The sources include various plants, fruits and berries.
All products (except from mixtures) produced by Polyphenols will be delivered with a HPLC purity above 97%.

Anthocyanins are the pigments which give plants their brilliant colours.
Anthocyanins are a large water-soluble group found in a large number of fruits, vegetables and flowers.
Some pharmaceutical effects of anthocyanins have been connected to the cardiovascular system, virology and ophthalmology. The antioxidant potentials of anthocyanins are very high.
